Scheduling a Pre-Law Advising appointment in The A Center is the best way to get connected with the Pre-Law Advising program. Together, you can discuss topics such as your future goals, your major and minor options, co-curricular activities, personal statement and resume reviews, and the basics of the law school application and admission process.
We recommend that you connect with us during your first semester at the University of Arizona, or as soon as you realize your interest in attending law school. The more we know about you, the better we can work with you to attain your goals. In the meantime, we want to provide you the answers to questions you may have about being Pre-Law at the University of Arizona.
To connect with the Pre-Law team, please call the office at 520-621-7763.
NOTE: If you are looking to make an appointment to discuss or declare the BA in Law major, please meet with their advisors. If you are looking to make an appointment to discuss or declare the Pre-Law Thematic Minor, please contact their advisors: Christopher Cruz, cbcruz75@arizona.edu) or Laura Owen lauraowen@arizona.edu). If you have specific questions about an individual school/application, please contact their law school admissions team.
Important note regarding personal statements and resumes
Personal statements/resumes must be sent to Chelsea Burk (cmburk@arizona.edu) 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment in order to be reviewed. Alternatively, feedback can be given via email instead of in an appointment. Please indicate your preference when you email Chelsea. To schedule an appointment, please call 520-621-7763.
