The A Center is available to support students during the COVID-19 situation. 

According to the Provost Message (7/24/2020 ), Staged Launch for In-Person Instruction for Fall 2020, "Student support beyond the classroom (advising, student aid counseling, career development, tutoring, supplemental instruction, cultural centers, etc.) will continue in a remote format until further notice." We are online and ready to meet with you!

Our advising services are available via phone and Zoom appointment options.  When scheduling an appointment with your advisor, please take note of the appointment type and how you will be connecting with your advisor for the meeting.

Student Emergency Fund
If you need emergency financial support, you may qualify for the Arizona Student Emergency Fund.

Drop-in Advising is available on a first-come, first-served basis for quick questions. You can use the Virtual Drop-in Center in eSMS, or call to speak with the advisor on duty.

  • Wednesday & Friday: 10am-2pm (AZ time)

Pre-Health advising appointments are open to all University of Arizona students who are interested in pursuing health related careers or graduate programs.

Life Management Counseling Appointments

Michelle Rosenbalm is a licensed professional counselor providing no-cost, short-term, confidential counseling services to students in The A Center.

Michelle works with students to address: 

  • Anxiety (stress that interferes with your daily functioning) 
  • Depression/Low mood 
  • Sleep disturbance 
  • Grief and loss 
  • Life transitions 
  • Overwhelming emotions or traumatic stress 
  • Interpersonal conflicts (e.g., with family member, partner, peer, employer, professor, etc.)

Internship Appointments

Internship appointments are open to all University of Arizona students who have completed the online information session and secured an internship position, and would like to earn academic credit for their experience.
