Welcome to The A Center's Appointment Information Page

 

Whether you're currently undeclared within The A Center, considering a major change, or thinking about a future in healthcare or law, we're excited to be part of your academic journey. We have multiple ways for you to connect with our advising team through appointments and drop-in sessions. Below, you'll find details about the different options available to you; simply click the menu item that applies to you to see how to schedule.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us. You can visit us in person on the 4th floor of the Bartlett Academic Success Center or send us an email at theacenter@arizona.edu. We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (AZ time), and we're here to help and support you along the way!

Undergraduate Admissions Group - 1

If you are an incoming first-year student, please note you should be scheduling your appointments for on or after May 26. If you schedule before then, your appointment will be cancelled and you will need to reschedule.

-Are you a University of Arizona student Undeclared in The A Center? Our Major Exploration team is ready to meet with you. If you are a member of one of the listed student groups, you will meet with that assigned advisor. If you do not fall into any of those groups, then you will meet with an advisor based on your last name. 

From 8/20-8/31, we will be seeing student via in-person drop-ins only. Please refer to our drop-in page for dates, times, and locations.

Please remember, sending an email to your advisor won't schedule your appointment. They'll guide you to the options listed above. If you run into any issues email theacenter@arizona.edu , and we'll be happy to assist you!

Are you a University of Arizona student with an interest in health-related careers or graduate programs? Our Pre-Health Professions Advising appointments are open to all students like you.

Booking an appointment with a Pre-Health Professions advisor is easy!

For incoming first-year students:
For continuing and transfer students:
  1. RSVP for and attend a Pre-Health Information Session.
  2. Attend the information session.
  3. If you need an appointment as a follow-up after attending the information session, visit the Pre-Professions Group Calendar and choose any open time.
  4. When you enter the appointment details, be specific as to why you are booking a Pre-Health Professions appointment, including your intended pathway (e.g. Physical Therapy, Dentistry).

Don't see an available appointment? Appointments open on CatCloud on Wednesdays for the following week, so we recommend taking a look then. 

Not in Tucson and do not see an available Zoom appointment? Scheduled an in-person meeting but need to change to Zoom due to unforeseen circumstances? Please call our office at 520-621-7763.

Are you a University of Arizona student planning for law school? Great news – our Pre-Law appointments are available to all students like you!

Booking a Pre-Law appointment with a Pre-Professions advisor is easy!

Here's how to do it:

  1. Visit the Pre-Professions Group Calendar and choose any open time.
  2. When you enter the appointment details, be specific as to why you are booking a Pre-Law appointment.

PRE-HEALTH DROP-INS

We are currently not offering Pre-Health Drop-ins.

These appointments are available to all University of Arizona students. Feeling uncertain about your major or not sure where to begin? Why not schedule a major exploration appointment with one of our friendly advisors from The A Center?

Our advisors are here to assist you in exploring your interests, uncovering potential majors you may not have considered, and taking those first steps toward selecting the perfect major for you.

You can schedule a major exploration appointment in one of two ways:

  1. Complete the Request for Major Exploration Appointment form.
    1. Currently all Major Exploration appointments will held in-person at our office at the Bartlett Academic Success Center. Please check your student email for a confirmation of time.
  2. Call our office at 520-621-7763 and request a Major Exploration appointment.
