Mark spent the first half of his life in California but has lived in the Midwest and Arizona during the last 25 years. Most recently, he advised medical students at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He and his family missed living in southern Arizona and decided to move back if he found a career match. That moment came with The A Center in June 2024. Mark recently completed his doctorate in student affairs administration and leadership from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He also completed master’s degrees in school counseling from Prescott College, psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California-Santa Cruz. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, being outdoors, and viewing pre-21st century historical videos and photographs.
