Kenya Jimenez

Kenya Jimenez is an Academic Advisor at the A Center and a PhD student in the Higher Education Program at the University of Arizona. Kenya grew up in Nogales, AZ, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Italian at the University of Arizona and her Master of Arts in Italian Language and Literature from the University of Oregon. Kenya is fluent in Spanish and Italian, and proficient in French. Before working as an Academic Advisor at the University of Arizona, she taught Italian at both the University of Oregon and the Rassias Center for World Languages at Dartmouth College, and also worked as a High School Academic Counselor. When she has free time, you can find Kenya out on a hike, traveling, practicing yoga, reading mystery/thriller books, and hanging out with her cute cat, Ares.
