Dr. Treya Allen serves as the Program Manager for Diverse and Inclusive Academic Advising Practices. She is interested in enhancing the advising experience for all students by utilizing inclusive advising structures and promoting diverse advising practices. As an advisor her practice is centered on ensuring that each student improves in their academic performance through guided advising, student advocacy, and utilizing a strengths-based approach for helping students complete their degree program. Dr. Allen is a first generation undergraduate and graduate student. Dr. Allen is a proud Lumberjack that resides in Wildcat country!She is a triple alumna of Northern Arizona University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Sociology, a Master of Education in Human Relations Counseling, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership. Her interests include reading widely, writing children's books for her nieces and nephews, and travel.
