Brianna Sheaffer
Major Exploration Advisor
Bree earned a BA in Creative Writing and a BA in Music from Susquehanna University and continued on to the University of Arizona to earn her MFA in Creative Writing. She began her career at UA teaching ENGL 101, 102, and 209 and made the transition to working as an advisor to undeclared students in 2015. She volunteers her time as a docent to the University of Arizona Poetry Center, training future docents and leading discussions about visiting poets. In addition to writing her own poetry, she enjoys spending time restoring a 1960s trailer, throwing pottery, and playing with her cat, Bitten.
